Project Overview

Our production house collaborated with Kinetic Green to create a dynamic film showcasing their latest electric mobility solution, the “E-Luna” bike. This film was crafted to highlight the key features of each product in a sleek, cinematic style, ensuring they stood out in the growing EV market.

Objective

Kinetic Green, known for its innovative approach to sustainable mobility, wanted to create a compelling, feature-packed film for the E-Luna. The objective was to:
Showcase the design, performance, and technology of both products.
Use cinematic visuals to elevate their brand perception.
Deliver a clean, premium, and futuristic look for their marketing campaigns.

Creative Approach

To achieve a visually striking and immersive experience, we took an innovative approach by shooting the entire film on a chroma background with a turntable setup. This allowed us to:
Isolate the vehicles perfectly, ensuring complete control over lighting and reflections.
‍Capture smooth, rotating beauty shots that accentuate the design of the E-Luna.

Execution

Pre-Production:

Conducted product research to understand the key USPs.
Designed detailed shots to map out feature shots.
Set up a chroma studio with specialised lighting to enhance the contours and aesthetics of the vehicle.

Production:

Used a motorised turntable to get 360-degree shots of the E-Luna.
Captured close-ups of key features like battery, display, wheels, and lights etc.
Emphasised seamless motion, making the vehicle appear futuristic and premium.

Post-Production:

Replaced the chroma background with a cool plain backdrop, aligning with the EV brand identity.
Added dynamic text animations and motion graphics to highlight product features.
Enhanced visuals with colour grading and VFX, ensuring a polished, high-end look.

Challenges & Solutions

Challenge: Maintaining natural reflections on a chroma setup.
Solution: Used a combination of diffused lighting & reflective surfaces to achieve realistic reflections.

Challenge: Ensuring smooth, stable rotations on the turntable.
Solution: Used a precision-controlled motorised turntable to achieve fluid movement.

Challenge: Bringing out the personality of the product in a minimalistic environment.Solution: Added subtle camera movements, lighting shifts, and high-quality sound design to create a dynamic and engaging feel.
