Objective

Ador India wanted to launch their latest innovation, Quench Slimline, with a product film that communicates its core strengths:ultra-slim design, smarter functionality, stronger build, and enhanced safety”. The brief was to create a highly premium, realistic, and cinematic showcase that relied on unconventional, yet effective, production methods.

The goal is to deliver a visually stunning film that highlights the product’s engineering excellence and resilience under diverse conditions.

Concept

“Ultra-Slim. Smarter. Stronger. Safer.”  The narrative emphasises Quench Slimline’s advanced design and performance by placing it in extreme weather conditions, from scorching heat to pouring rain and icy environments. Each setting symbolises resilience and strength, visually dramatising the product’s ability to perform anywhere.

The product then opens up in a dynamic reveal, showcasing its internal structure and features, a metaphor for transparency, innovation, and reliability.

Using Unreal Engine, the film achieves photorealistic realism while allowing for seamless transitions between these environments.

Execution

  • Virtual Production: Created entirely in Unreal Engine, enabling real-time visualisation and rendering of environments and product details.

  • Extreme Weather Sequences:

    • Heat – The product stands resilient against a sun-scorched industrial backdrop.

    • Rain/Storm – Water droplets and stormy ambience highlight durability and safety.

    • Ice/Snow – Frosty visuals emphasise strength and endurance.

  • Product Reveal: The Quench Slimline opens up beautifully, highlighting its smart engineering and inner components in a cinematic, futuristic style.

  • Cinematography: Fluid camera moves, dramatic lighting, and hyper-real textures balance industrial seriousness with cinematic flair.

Challenges

  • Achieving Realism in Unreal: Weather simulations and material textures had to be meticulously fine-tuned to avoid looking “digital.”

  • Feature Breakdown: Ensuring the product’s internal reveal was technically accurate yet visually captivating.

Balancing Engineering & Emotion: Keeping the film aspirational while remaining faithful to the product’s industrial integrity.
