Project Overview

Tunwal E-Vehicles, a leading electric vehicle brand, wanted to showcase the convenience, reliability, and versatility of their e-scooter in an engaging and relatable ad film. The goal was to highlight how the scooter can seamlessly transition between urban and rural environments, while also emphasizing its role in facilitating meaningful, real-world connections. The film follows a doctor on a mission to provide free medical care in a rural area, portraying the scooter as an eco-friendly, dependable mode of transport for people who care about making a difference.

Objectives

1. Highlight Convenience and Reliability: Showcase the Tunwal E-scooter’s ability to handle diverse terrain, from bustling city streets to rural landscapes.

2. Promote Social Responsibility: Position Tunwal’s e-scooter as a solution for individuals who want to make a difference.

3. Engage Target Audience: Appeal to urban professionals, environmentally conscious individuals, and those interested in sustainable transportation options.  

4. Brand Positioning: Reinforce Tunwal E-Vehicles as an eco-conscious and socially responsible brand, catering to both urban and rural needs.  

Approach

1. Pre-Production Planning:  

   - Worked closely with the Tunwal E-Vehicles marketing team to ensure that the key brand values (convenience, reliability, and sustainability) were effectively communicated.

   - Developed the storyline to feature both urban and rural settings, emphasizing the versatility of the scooter.

   - Cast a “doctor” as the protagonist to symbolize professionalism, trust, and care, aligning with the message of healthcare and community support.

2. Production Execution:  

   - Location Selection: We chose a combination of “urban city streets” and “rural landscapes” to showcase the scooter's capability in both environments.  

   - Riding Shots: Captured dynamic shots of the doctor riding the scooter, both on city roads and on bumpy rural roads.  

   - Emotional Moment: The scene where the doctor helps the elderly man was filmed to evoke empathy and human connection, enhancing the message of kindness and community.  

   - Lighting and Cinematography: The use of natural light in rural settings and cityscape shots added authenticity to the visual experience, with subtle colours to match the scooter’s youthful and eco-friendly personality.

3. Post-Production:  

   - Editing: We focused on a seamless transition between the urban and rural settings to highlight the scooter’s adaptability. The emotional moments were emphasized with thoughtful pacing.  

- Music: An uplifting soundtrack was used to enhance the emotional connection and convey a sense of purpose and hope with the lyrics which portrayed trust, and reliability.

Challenges & Solutions

- Changing Environments: The transition from city to rural areas presented logistical challenges in terms of location management and weather conditions. Careful planning ensured smooth execution across both environments.

- Rider Comfort and Safety: Given that the shoot involved riding on both urban streets and rugged rural terrain, we ensured that the actor was trained for the ride, with proper safety measures in place to ensure a smooth, comfortable performance.

Key Outcomes

- Brand Recognition: The ad effectively communicated Tunwal E-Vehicles as a reliable and versatile mode of transport, appealing to both eco-conscious urban professionals and rural dwellers.  

- Engagement and Impact: The film’s emotional and human-focused storytelling resonated deeply with audiences, particularly in conveying how the scooter is not just a vehicle but a tool to help people make a difference in their communities.  

- Positive Feedback: The campaign generated significant engagement across social media platforms, with viewers appreciating the balance of practical features and social responsibility in the ad.

Conclusion

The “Chal Befikar” ad film for “Tunwal E-Vehicles” successfully demonstrated the convenience, reliability, and adaptability of their e-scooter, while reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sustainability and social impact. The narrative of the doctor’s journey highlighted how the scooter empowers people to make meaningful contributions to society, whether in urban or rural areas. This project not only captured the essence of Tunwal’s product but also solidified its position as a brand that cares for both people and the environment.
